Why Train With Lauren Gardstrom?

Lauren's primary injectable of choice is Sculptra when it comes to addressing fine lines, wrinkles, texture, and age related volume loss. Lauren began using Sculptra before it was hot on the market, and has years of experience with the product prior to the product becoming FDA indicated for treating skin texture, Lauren began to notice her patients were presenting with a post injection glow, now dubbed the "Sculptra glow." She has always been one step ahead of the market for PLLA injections and continues to do so by attending esteemed injector conferences and courses, fueling her passion for education and training on products she loves and believes in.

Lauren is The Confidence Bars in-house expert on the product, spending hours each week training here team and other fellow injectors. Lauren firmly believes that Sculptra filled a gap in the aesthetic market and is the right person to train with to help all your future patients experience the Sculptra magic!

Agenda:

The Sculptra Aesthetic Training covers the use of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) injections for facial rejuvenation and addressing aging signs. These injections are known for enhancing facial volume, minimizing wrinkles, and achieving improved skin texture, often referred to as the coveted "Sculptra glow."

Session Outline:

  1. Didactic Presentation by Lauren: The training begins with a comprehensive presentation. Lauren will provide in-depth insights into Sculptra Aesthetic, explaining its uses, benefits, and the science behind PLLA injections.
  2. Live Model Demonstration: Following the presentation, there will be a live demonstration on a model to showcase the application of Sculptra Aesthetic. Lauren will illustrate the injection techniques and treatment areas that are her favourite.
  3. Hands-On Experience: Each session is limited to three attendees to ensure personalized attention. Each attendee will have dedicated one-on-one time with Lauren for hands-on experience. This practical segment involves supervised injections, allowing participants to apply what they've learned.

Topics Covered:

  1. Product Knowledge: Participants learn about the composition and properties of Sculptra Aesthetic. This includes understanding how poly-L-lactic acid works to stimulate collagen production, which ultimately leads to the desired facial rejuvenation effects.
  2. Patient Assessment: Atteendees are taught how to assess patients' facial anatomy, skin condition, and aesthetic goals. This is crucial for creating personalized treatment plans and achieving natural-looking results using sculptra aesthetic.
  3. Injection Techniques: Different injection techniques and reconstitutions are covered, including the use of specific injection points, depths, and volumes using needle and cannula. These techniques contribute to achieving optimal outcomes while minimizing risks and side effects.
  4. Safety and Risks: Atteendees learn about potential risks, complications, and contraindications associated with Sculptra injections. Education on how to prevent, recognise and manage complications should they arise.
  5. Hands-on Practice: Hands-on training is a crucial component of this course. Atteendees are asked to bring an model of their choosing to be treated under the guidance of our sculptra guru Lauren Gardstrom. This allows and opportunity to put theory into practice and develop their injection skills.
  6. Treatment Protocols: Lauren will share with atteendees her crafted treatment protocols, including the recommended number of sessions, interval between sessions, and post-treatment care.

CME Credits

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of  MECOP and The Confidence Lab. MECOP is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The activty is approved for 7 CME credits.

Certificate

After completing the training, atteendees may receive a certification indicating their completion and proficiency in administering Sculptra Aesthetic treatments.

How Many People Will Be In the Course?

Courses are limited to three participants and fill up well in advance! We value small, intimate positive learning environments.

Will I Need To Bring a Model?

Yes you are required to bring your own model with your areas of focus. Feel free to bring product for your model or they will receive 50% off treatment cost. After you register, please contact our office to schedule your model and discuss in more detail.

Can I Be a Model?

If you would like to recieve a treatment and be a model in the training please let us know ahead of time.

Cancellation Policy

All sales are final. If you are unable to attend, you may use your enrollment for a  future course date or send an aesthetic peer in your place at no additional charge. If an aesthetic peer is coming in your place, please let us know in advance.

What is the Dress Code for Class?

The dress code is business casual. Scrubs are not required but are optional. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes such as sneakers as we stand most of the day. If you have long hair, please wear it off your face.
